This camp will focus on teaching a strong foundation of the fundamentals of lacrosse. Rising sophomores will teach younger girls how to cradle properly, catch and throw the ball, scoop ground balls, and shoot. All these skills mixed with fun and interactive drills. A week full of fun activities focusing on each skill. At the end of the week we have a fun activity to wrap it all up! Whether it’s your first time picking up a stick or you have some experience, our coaches will help you develop your game play. Campers will develop an understanding of offensive as well as defensive tactics in a FUN and POSITIVE environment!
Each counselor has played 10+ years of Fort Hunt lacrosse together and have participated in many travel lacrosse teams. They are on the West Potomac Girls Lacrosse team. They are so excited to share their knowledge and experience with younger girls that play lacrosse or are excited to start.
